About Philip Cordell

Philip completed BM and MM degrees in Piano Performance/Pedagogy and Composition at Wittenberg University, Springfield, Ohio and Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. He's been teaching for 45 years with lots of experience for students of all ages and levels of difficulty. Philip also teaches music theory. He has worked for as a professional accompanist for Ballet Met, Gallery Players Theatre, multiple other theatre organizations, churches and universities throughout the years. He also coaches young musicians interested in playing in ensembles. Philip holds a permanent professional teaching certificate with Music Teachers National Organization.
