Get to know Rachel Greenspan
Rachel Greenspan grew up in the "City of Angels" Los Angeles, California, where she received formal music education from 7 years old in Classical Piano and Voice at the Beverly Hills Conservatory of Music. She continued her vocal training at the Cleveland Institute of Music, Music School Settlement, as well as advanced piano at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, for three years with the Artist in Residence, Julliard Graduate, Professor David Kaisermann. She continued studying with other Northwest classical and jazz pianists, and sang with the Seattle Symphony Chorale, as well as the Seattle Choral Company, among other Northwest choral and vocal groups.
Rachel received her Master's Degree in Applied Behavioral Science at Bastyr University's Leadership Institute of Seattle, focusing on Child Development, Counseling and Communication. Rachel also received a Master's Degree in Education, and she has been a music educator teaching piano, voice and music theory for more than 30 years in public schools as well as area music centers and private homes.

Rachel is happy to be teaching piano and voice at Music & Arts in Burien to both children 6 years and olderas well as teens and adults, and she is really looking forward to meeting local community members and their families.
