About Ramon Garcia

Ramón I. García is a professional saxophonist with more than 40 years of performance experience, beginning with his training at the Armed Forces School of Music (Army Element) in 1998. He performed with the Fort Stewart and Fort Rucker Army Bands, appearing in major venues across Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. A native of Puerto Rico, he has toured and recorded with numerous tropical music ensembles, including merengue, salsa, and jazz groups.
Today, Ramón is an active performer in Central Florida, appearing throughout downtown Orlando as part of the Downtown Orlando Live Music Program, and serving weekly as a saxophonist with the First Baptist Orlando Orchestra. He holds a BA in Leadership from Asbury University and an Associate Degree from St. Leo College, and is the author of the Amazon‑published ebook How to Pass Your Saxophone Audition.
