Teaching Experience: More than 30 years
Teaching Philosophy: I offer serious instruction for aspiring students. I emphasize proper posture and positioning, as well as the development of good sound and good intonation (playing well in tune). When the student is ready, it is my special pleasure to get into details of musicianship, including phrasings, nuances and overall interpretation. Serious standards are balanced with supportiveness, and even touches of humor.

Raphael Klayman's violin virtuosity has taken him across much of the USA as well as parts of Europe and Asia. He specializes in Classical music but is very active in pop music as well. He has worked with Tony Bennet and Rascall Flatts and has served as Concertmaster (lead violin) for Ray Charles, Regis Philbin, Clay Aiken and Lalah Hathaway. Raphael Klayman has two solo CD's on his own label, GuarneriRecords and maintains an extensive website at rkviolin.com.
He also dedicates a significant portion of his time to violin teaching.
