About Robert Komada

Robert Komada is a woodwind and brass teacher who works with students from beginner to advanced levels on clarinet, saxophone, flute, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, and trombone. His lessons focus on building strong technical foundations through scales, chords, etudes, and repertoire while encouraging creativity through classical music and jazz improvisation. Robert believes every student can grow at their own pace in a supportive, judgment-free environment, helping students build confidence while refining technique and musical expression. He works with students preparing for school ensembles, district and college auditions, performances, or simply learning favorite songs for enjoyment. Robert holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Clarinet and Saxophone Performance from the University of the Arts and has over 20 years of teaching experience.
