About Ron Shank

Ron Shank is a guitar and bass teacher who works with students of all skill levels in a fun, energetic, and goal-focused environment. His lessons are built around each student’s personal interests, helping them learn the music they love while developing strong playing skills and confidence. Ron teaches a wide variety of styles including rock, pop, blues, metal, punk, funk, and jazz, tailoring lessons to match each student’s goals and musical direction. Whether students want to jam with friends, perform, or simply enjoy playing music, Ron creates an encouraging atmosphere that keeps learning exciting and rewarding. Ron studied with Kjell Benner of Quiet Riot and was influenced by guitarist and music director Mike Sembello of Stevie Wonder’s band.
