Teaching Experience: I have taught brass in groups and privately for about 6 years now, I began coaching high school brass sections for marching band season out of highschool, Once I began college I was given many chances to coach brass students through my university for jazz band, concert band, and marching band. I began private instruction with music stores in 2019 and began to gain students. Since then I have worked with many brass students weekly.
Teaching Philosophy: I believe that music education should be a fun vibrant and explorative experience for my students. Music is a personal experience and students should be enriched by learning music they enjoy making. I strive to make my lessons a fun learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes and grow as musicians.
