About Sage

Sage is a classically trained orchestral string player with over 25 years experience in orchestras, small ensembles and solo performance. They are well versed in classical technique and historical performance as well as alternative styles including bluegrass fiddle, celtic folk, pop/rock/punk and blues/jazz.

As a trained somatic instructor with a background in music therapy work, Sage is able to teach students of all ages and ability levels. With a wide range of knowledge in string methodologies Sage is an adaptive teacher that can accommodate many learning styles and meet special needs.

Sage is a passionate teacher who loves to support their students as they grow both musically and personally. Their teaching philosophy includes a strong belief in music as personal growth, life enrichment, and community building.

Sage lives in Auburn, WA with their family and two miniature maltese muppets.
