About Sal Mowery

Dr. Mowery’s performing experience includes performing as soloist in recitals and special music for church services. She was a featured soloist in the Sunday Afternoon Music Series at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Miami, FL. In Atlanta, Dr. Mowery played the Bach Double Flute Concerto accompanied by Atlanta Symphony Chamber Orchestra.

She also performed the Bach Concerto for Flute and Harpsichord as part of the Music Department Program at Barry University, Miami, FL. Dr. Mowery has also been a guest conductor with Denver University Symphonic Wind Ensemble.

She has created and directed several youth music groups which include A Big Band Jazz group, The Pied Piper's Youth Choir, Pan Pipers Recorder Orchestra, The Joyful Noise Band, The Recorder and Percussion Group.

Dr. Mowery’s teaching experience includes individual and group instruction for preschool to college/adult. This included creating programs, writing and directing musicals and accompanying all events.
