      Get to know Sam Rogers Jr

      Sam Rogers, also known to some as, “Saxophone Sam,” has just over 44 years of experience playing the alto-saxophone.  Born into a musically gifted family, music has become a part of Sam Rogers and his everyday language.  He has served as alto-saxophonist for the late Nedra Huff,  (his maternal aunt and accomplished gospel vocalist).  He served as an alto-saxophonist for the Virginia, Great Northern District Choir of the Church of God In Christ, (C.O.G.I.C.), the Virginia Jurisdiction #1 State Choir, C.O.G.I.C., and his local church choir, Gethsemane C.O.G.I.C., Alexandria, VA.
