About Sandy Walsh

Hello, 

I am a mother of 4 kids, and now 9 grandkids. I was able to be a stay-at-home Mom because I taught piano. I absolutely love it! I have been teaching for 32 years.

I teach regular lessons and game lessons as a part of their study. I am a member of D.V.M.T.A. and the students are able to participate in their events. We share at Superstition Springs Mall in late October. We write compositions for the Original Composition Festival held in November. We give to the Nursing Home a Christmas recital in December. We start memory songs in January for Achievement Day at M.C.C. We share at the Nursing Home again in April. We study patriotic songs in the summer. We  study the Eras, composers, and their countries. I also teach ensemble (duets) with families of 2 or more. 

I think music should be fun! I have a degree in Elementary Education, but I enjoy a classroom with 1 or 2 instead. Piano is more than just quarter note gets one, I hope it is enjoyed by many.  

I love teaching here at Music and Arts. It is so convenient to have the music right here, and the team members are awesome!
