About Sasha Hammer

Sasha Hammer is a bass guitar, double bass, guitar, drums, piano, and banjo teacher who creates goal-focused lessons that challenge students while keeping music enjoyable and motivating. She teaches advanced bass guitar, double bass, guitar, and drums as well as intermediate piano and banjo, helping students explore styles like blues, rock, metal, country, jazz, pop, and funk through both structured learning and improvisation. Sasha encourages students to take ownership of their musical goals while building technique, theory knowledge, and confidence through songs that push their abilities in rewarding ways. Whether preparing for orchestra concerts, band performances, or simply playing for fun, lessons are tailored to what inspires each student most. Sasha has been teaching full time since 2020 and performs regularly with local bands.
