Education: BA Economics, Studied classical guitar with San Francisco Conservatory graduate Timothy Lawler

Performance Experience: I have worked on the set of the ABC mini-series "An Inconvenient Woman". Tuned guitars for actor Chad Lowe (Rob brother). Recorded at the famous Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, where CCR, CSNY, Santana, Grateful Dead, Green Day, Chris Isaak and many others have recorded. Two CD's available on iTunes/Spotify E.T.R. Space Time Continuum, The Jiffy Mellows - In Search of Jeffrey.

Teaching Experience: I have taught private guitar lessons since 1996. I have taught group guitar lessons since 1998. I teach all ages. Classic Rock, blues, country , jazz, reggae, classical.

Teaching Philosophy: I enjoy working with students of all ages. I like students to gain an appreciation for the history of guitar through it's music and artist. I encourage students to listen to music and learn by ear, as well as learn to improvise. I also encourage students to learn how to read music notation and tablature so as to better understand music and be able to communicate with other musicians. Performing and singing is also encouraged.
