Teaching Philosophy:
Learning music is a great gift to give yourself or your child that will always be a source of happiness, whether performing in a public or academic setting, or sharing with friends and family. I design lessons tailored specifically to each student's goals, whatever they might be: to learn for personal enjoyment, prepare for an audition, perform for a contest, or share in a social setting. I incorporate fun incentives, encouragement, and humor to capture and sustain students' interest.
Get to know Sharon Hudak
Sharon Hudak teaches beginner to advanced flute and piccolo, beginner to early advanced piano, and beginner to early advanced voice. Her encouraging lessons adapt to each student’s energy, goals, and learning needs while developing technique, musicality, theory, sight-reading, aural skills, and performance confidence. Sharon teaches classical, jazz, swing, pop, Broadway, blues, gospel, worship, folk, and contemporary music, creating a supportive environment for serious and recreational students alike. She prepares students for recitals, auditions, ensembles, and personal enjoyment. Sharon holds a master’s degree in Music Pedagogy and has taught since 2001.
