About Stefanie

Stefanie Batson-Martin is from Orlando, FL. She moved to Jacksonville after high school to attend the University of North Florida where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Performance as a flutist, and completed the requirements for the same degree in Piano Performance.

Stefanie started her teaching career in 2011 driving to students' homes, and continued that until summer 2018. She started teaching for Music and Arts in 2016.

As a performer, Stefanie started accompanying classmates for Solo and Ensemble as a senior in high school. She has played for school choir concerts in northeast Florida, and has Music Directed for local community theatre productions. She has been the Lead Musician for Lord of Life Lutheran Church since 2012.

Stefanie works at Swimming Safari as a swim instructor. She also works at the Brown Family YMCA as a swim instructor, aqua fitness instructor and first aid instructor.

Stefanie is married to Damon Martin (https://stores.musicarts.com/instructors/damon-martin). They have two cats, Jiji and Lily.
