      Education: Stellan attends The University of Texas at Arlington, where he is working on his degree in Jazz Studies with instructor Thomas Burchill. Before attending UTA he graduated from Tuloso Midway HS.
      Performance Experience: Stellan has played the guitar in multiple contexts throughout his nine years of experience. Currently he plays guitar in UTA’s Jazz Orchestra overseen by Tim Ishii. Additionally, he plays in multiple jazz groups in and out of school. Before college, Stellan played in a variety of different rock bands. Stellan also has marching band experience, having played tuba in band for 7 years.
      Teaching Experience: Stellan has been teaching since his junior year of high school, resulting in 4 years of experience.
      Teaching Philosophy: Teaching is much more than just instructing someone on how to better themselves with their chosen subject. Teaching is developing genuine connections and creating another sense of home that a student can trust will only create good for them. Stellan’s goal as a teacher is to understand his students and adapt each curriculum to better fit the needs of the student. Whether the student wants to play for millions or just themselves,
