About Stephanie Sass
Get to know Stephanie Sass
Hello! I am Stephanie Sass! I teach voice along with beginner level guitar and ukulele here at Music and Arts. I also incorporate written and aural music theory skills in all of my lessons. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors in Music. I have been teaching for over 5 years. I have taught both guitar and ukulele in school music classrooms. I also took voice lessons for several years and have experience in leading choral rehearsals. One of my greatest skills is being able to differentiate instructions in order to better help my students. I do my best to implement their interests into their lessons. I fell in love with music at a very young age. Growing up in Nashville, TN, I was always surrounded by live music. My dad was a sound engineer and I have many memories of watching him behind the sound booth making live musicians sound absolutely amazing. I have been singing in choirs since I was seven years old and I still sing in one today. I began playing guitar around the same time. I have performed at open mic nights, church services, and production recordings. Along with music, I also enjoy solving jigsaw puzzles, going rock climbing, playing video games, reading, and watching and quoting SpongeBob SquarePants. I am honored to be a teacher at Music & Arts.
