      Get to know Stephanie Sass

Hello! I am Stephanie Sass! I teach beginner level guitar and ukulele along with written and aural music theory here at Music and Arts. I have been in love with music and teaching for over 20 years. Growing up in Nashville, TN, I was always surrounded by live music. I began playing guitar when I was six years old and have kept playing since then. I have performed at open mic nights, church services, and production recordings. I began playing ukulele in 2020 and found it to be just as fun as guitar. I have taught both guitar and ukulele in school music classrooms and am skilled in differentiating instructions and implementing my students interests into my lesson plans. I am currently a Vocal Music Education major at Western Kentucky University and will be graduating with a Bachelors of Music in Education in December 2023. I plan on teaching voice as well at Music & Arts in 2024. Along with music, I also enjoy solving jigsaw puzzles, going rock climbing, playing videogames, reading, and watching and quoting SpongeBob SquarePants. I am honored to be a teacher at Music & Arts.
