Performance Experience: Steve has performed in many concert halls, summer festivals, broadway pits and stadiums throughout the U.S and Europe.
Teaching Experience: From the home studio at age 17 to private music schools, Seminary, Youth symphonies, and public junior and high schools.
Teaching Philosophy: To give each student the proper technique in order for them to advance and feel a sense of accomplishment. To encourage growth by suggesting a regular practice schedule. And most of all to have fun and enjoy making music playing drums and percussion.
Get to know Steve Burke
Drummer/Percussionist Steve Burke is a graduate from The Juilliard School with both a Masters and Bachelors degree in Percussion Performance. Throughout his career he has played, toured and recorded with a variety of ensembles including Symphonies, Chamber groups, Ballet and Opera companies, Percussion Trios, Broadway shows and Rock bands.
