      Teaching Philosophy: If you have the drive, determination, energy, and passion, then learning will come very natural to you. I like when my students leapfrog over me and do better than myself.

      Get to know Steven Bello

      Hello everyone! My name is Steve Bello and I've been a guitarist for over 40 years, teaching over 20 of those years. I earned an Associates Degree in Music from Bergen Community College (1991). Can teach various styles, and am willing to learn from my students as well. Also have experience as a recording/touring musician, with nine albums released independently and have many endorsements including Ibanez, Aurora Strings, Orange, Ampturco Cables, etc. I have toured with legends as TM Stevens (Steve Vai/James Brown/Miles Davis) and TC Tolliver (Plasmatics), as well as opened for such bands as Lita Ford, King's X, Uli Roth, Joe Lynn Turner, Blaze Bayley, Michael Angelo Batio, Warrant and Living Colour.

      I've taught students of all ages, all styles and levels (beginners, intermediate, and even some pros who wanted to brush up on some chops or theory). My motto is very simple: "If you're ready to learn, I'm ready to teach you."
