Get to know Steven Clark
Steve Clark is a drum and percussion professional with over 35 years of experience and a successful 20-year track record of private and group drum instruction catering to both traditional and special needs students. He has designed and/or facilitated varied music workshops for intellectually and developmentally disabled adults, parents and teachers of homeschooled pre-k students and in collaboration with The International House of Blues Foundation facilitated their Make an Impression Drum Initiative in Las Vegas, NV. Since 2012, he has been a Teaching Artist with the Southern Nevada Wolf Trap Early Learning Through the Arts, a program of the Smith Center for the Performing Arts and an affiliate of The Wolf Trap Institute.
Steve had recorded on over 100 released songs and has performed on stages around the world. He is the founder of Junior Drummer Music Education and author and creator of The Junior Drummer Kit, and author of “Write It Down! Every Person’s Guide to Setting and Reaching Goals.” He is also affiliated with the Percussive Arts Society and the Vic Firth Private Drum Teacher Program. Steve was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in July 2000.
