About Steven Clark

Steve Clark is a drum set teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating energetic and encouraging lessons that balance strong technique with the fun of making music. He focuses on building solid fundamentals like drum notation reading, posture, stamina, and groove development while teaching styles including rock, funk, jazz, Latin, country, rockabilly, punk, and more. Steve personalizes each lesson to the student’s goals, helping them build confidence through steady progress, performance preparation, and collaboration with other musicians. Whether students are preparing for school band, auditions, recitals, songwriting, or simply playing for enjoyment, Steve helps them develop the skills and confidence to succeed. Steve has over 30 years of teaching experience, was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall of Fame in 2000, and has performed internationally alongside legendary artists and bands throughout his career.
