Get to know Stu Gollin
Stu Gollin is a guitar and music theory teacher who works with beginner to advanced students, creating lessons that are personalized to each student’s interests, goals, and learning style. He teaches a wide range of musical styles including jazz, rock, punk, metal, classical, country, and pop while incorporating music theory, composition, and strong guitar fundamentals into every lesson. Stu believes the most effective learning happens when instruction is tailored to the individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether students are preparing for school ensembles, developing as musicians, or simply playing for enjoyment, he focuses on helping them achieve their personal goals in a supportive and engaging environment. Stu studied at Berklee College of Music and received private instruction from renowned musicians Dennis Sandole, Tal Farlow, and Harry Leahey.
