About Teddy Jones
Get to know Teddy Jones
After studying at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, Teddy Jones has been playing
saxophone professionally for almost 20 years. With a rich musical background in rock, blues,
jazz, classical, soul, pop, funk and country, he brings a wide array of musical knowledge,
discipline, and enthusiasm to share with every student. Growing up in the Indiana school band
programs, he understands how to help students with their school music, including solo/
ensemble and jazz improvisation and theory. Along the way he also learned trombone and
harmonica, and is available to teach those instruments as well. Whether you are new to the
saxophone or would like to learn saxophone improvisation, Teddy will help you improve your
playing and have fun while playing. Teddy is a full time performing and recording saxophonist
around Nashville and the southeast region.
