About Terry Humphries

Terry was born in Dallas, TX and graduated from Hillcrest High School. He began playing guitar at 11 and was on local stages by the age of 14.  It was in college in Idaho that he started working part time as a seasoned Guitarist and playing in a local band named DV8. It was through those gigs that he got to experience road life. He spent 15 plus years on the road as a backing player & sub musician on guitar.

Returning to Texas he started as a private guitar instructor along with playing with various bands. He opened New Bridge Studio in Garland, TX and shared his knowledge of guitars for over twelve years. He has taught at Grand Prairie School of Music, Brook Mays, C&S Music, Larry Morgan Music, Music World, Texas Guitar Workshop & Sam Ash, and Music & Arts.

He is currently playing guitar for the band Voodoo Witness.
Terry enjoys many musical avenues including Blues, Rock, Country, Folk, Punk, Jazz, Electric, acoustic 6 & 12 strings. He believes in making rock stars one lesson at a time.
