About Tom Levecchia

Tom Levecchia is a saxophone and drum teacher who works with beginner to advanced students of all ages in a supportive and engaging environment. His lessons focus on building strong fundamentals through warm-ups, technique development, music theory, sight reading, and improvisation while incorporating both jazz and classical styles. Tom personalizes lessons around each student’s musical interests, helping them build confidence through achievable repertoire before gradually introducing more challenging material. Whether preparing for jazz band auditions, honor ensembles, performances, cover bands, or simply playing for enjoyment, students are guided toward steady growth and lasting musical enjoyment. Tom has over 45 years of teaching experience and has performed extensively throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York City, and Key West, Florida.
