About Tony Galbreath
Get to know Tony Galbreath
Son of a semi-professional musician and educator. Studied piano at age 10, bass clarinet at age 12, switched to the tenor saxophone in and throughout high school. Awarded jazz tenor chair at the Dallas city wide jazz band competition in high school. He earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University Of North Texas, an Associate degree in Electronics Technology from Lamar State College, and a Masters of Science in Music Technology from IUPUI. Performed professionally with the San Jose, California based group “Touch N Go” for 4 years as the saxophonist / keyboardist with additional skills in sequencing, background vocals, on occasion lead vocals, and dancing which led to a permanent position in sharing the forefront of the group.
