About Traysa Perry

Education: Associate in Arts degree from Tarrant County College. Studied violin for 20 years.

Performance Experience: I am currently a member of the Northeast Orchestra. I also play every week at my church.

Teaching Experience: I have been teaching for over 10 years, and at Music & Arts for 5 years.

Teaching Philosophy: I enjoy the opportunity to teach others the joy of violin. To optimize performance ability, I strive to teach traditional techniques as well as encourage the student to work on trouble areas, while moving them along when they are ready. I use method books as well as Suzuki books as repertoire.
