Performance Experience: Currently, Trey is freelance gospel piano accompanist for local churches. Trey has performed in multiple ensembles including ECU’s Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band. He has performed with the ECU Chamber Singers and toured with the group to Tolosa, Spain and Maribor, Slovenia. Furthermore, Scarborough has experience performing in operas with his most notable performance in his lead role of ECU Opera Theatre's 'The Beggar's Opera' by John Gay among other operas he has performed in.

Trey Scarborough is well acclimated in various genres of music including Classical, Gospel, R&B/Soul, Pop, and Jazz. As an experienced musician Trey has traveled internationally performing in operas and touring with local professional and collegiate choirs. Trey has taught music for over a decade to students from the beginners to collegiate level. His primary instruments are Voice, Piano, and Trumpet. Trey enjoys helping students find their passion in music whether through improvisation, classical training, or music theory. Trey believes that music is the universal language for everyone to experience and create. He looks forward to helping students pursue their aspirations through music. “If not now, when?”
