About Trinett Wells
Get to know Trinett Wells
Trinett Wells has always loved listening to and making music. Her instruction began with Lizhou Liu at age 6 when she was awarded the Shirley Lindsay scholarship. Shortly after beginning the viola, Trinett and her older siblings formed their own family quartet. They performed with the Savannah Symphony Orchestra's Debut Strings and with Children of SCORE (string, choral, orff, recorder ensemble) at Savannah Country Day under the direction of Charlotte Gerkin and Paula Swart. Trinett joined the Armstrong Atlantic Youth Orchestra in 2010 and quickly rose through its ranks. She now performs with all five orchestras. In addition to that, she is also on staff to provide assistance with auditions, rehearsals, and concerts. Trinett is currently studying viola and string pedagogy with Kerri Sellman. She has taken Child Development theory, Suzuki violin; methods courses with master Suzuki teacher Edmund Sprunger; and is a member of both Suzuki Association of Georgia (SAGA) and Suzuki Association of the Americas (SSA). Trinett is excited to share her passion and love for music with newcomers, young and old alike!
