About Tyler Lemmond

Tyler Lemmond is a distinguished musician and percussionist with over a decade of experience and expertise in the field of music and percussion. After graduating from Santa Fe High School, Tyler pursued his passion for percussion under the guidance of Dr. Sarah Burke and Todd Quinlan at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. They later completed their music education degree with a concentration in percussion at Sam Houston State University.

With over 12 years experience, 25 different schools, and over 100 students Tyler is an expert in teaching percussion in the most effective way to insure student success. Tyler has impacted numerous students and helped them achieve their musical goals, and aspirations. Beyond lessons, Tyler has an impressive career that includes spending three years as a member of the Houston Texans Drumline and over 5 years working with mega churches like Champion Forest Church to organize large events and play shows, working with nonprofit organizations like Percussion One, and Yamaha sounds of summer, doing percussion repair for local schools, and participation in clients given at Texas BandMaster Association conference in San Antonio. This experience demonstrates his ability to perform at the highest level on and off stage.
