About Tynisha Hearne

Tynisha Hearne, a native Delawarean, has played the violin for over twenty-five years. Beginning her classical studies at the age of 8, she has performed with the Dover Symphony Orchestra, Umoja Strings, and other local ensembles including the Calvary Baptist Church. Tynisha studied music education at Delaware State University graduating Magna Cum Lade in 2013. During that time, she studied music abroad in China twice, and Italy. She began her elementary music teaching career in 2014 teaching general music, vocal, and instruments . Since 2007, she has given violin lessons to beginner and intermediate students of various ages in the Dover area.

 In addition to teaching, Tynisha is a singer/songwriter, and has experience with music recording and arranging. She released a solo album “A Rose Thru Stone” with an incredible visual album on YouTube. Currently, she performs playing violin and singing covers and original music at local venues under the group name Ty and SkyyZ.
