About Vanessa Montalvo

Hi everyone! My name is Vanessa and I am a Woodwind and Brass Instructor at Music and Arts in South Paramus, NJ. 

I have been a part of music since the second grade and started to learn Flute in the fourth grade and hasn't stopped since, including knowing how to play Clarinet(+family), Saxophone(+family), and Oboe(+English Horn). I graduated at Lebanon Valley College with a degree in Flute Performance with a Minor in Musical Theater. The types of music for flute music that I know is classical, latin, jazz, folklore, etc. 

In my spare time, I love to listen and compose music/arranging for video game soundtrack, which includes being a part of the New Jersey Gamer Symphony Orchestra as well as drawing and painting. I hope to bring joy to everyone who wants to learn music and keep bringing joy to those who will continue to love and appreciate music just as much as I do.
