Performance Experience: At KSU, Veronica played principal flute and piccolo in the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. Veronica has performed at various churches and other locations in the Metro Atlanta area.

Teaching Experience: Veronica has been teaching one-on-one and group lessons for two years. She is also the director of the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra Flute Choir.

Teaching Philosophy: My ultimate goal is to help students find a love of music-making. I strive to create a welcoming learning environment that adapts to each student’s unique learning styles, needs, and goals. With enough time, efficient practice, and healthy habits, I believe every student has the potential to make beautiful (and flute-iful) music!

Get to know Veronica Del Castillo

Veronica Del Castillo is a dedicated and enthusiastic flute teacher and freelance flutist. She started playing the flute at 11 years old, and throughout her school years she participated in All State bands and the Metropolitan Youth Symphony Orchestra of Atlanta. She earned her bachelor’s degree in music performance from Kennesaw State University, where she was principal flutist of the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra and performed in various solo and chamber recitals.

Veronica is currently a private flute teacher and the director of Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Flute Choir. She loves teaching students of all ages and experience levels, and she believes in personalizing her lessons to help every student thrive no matter where they are in their musical journey. Her ultimate goal is to foster a love of music-making in all of her students.
