About Veronika Janssen

With over 10 years of experience as a musician, I bring a wide range of skills to my teaching, focusing on the latest advancements in music technology. I specialize in vocal instruction, music theory, and music production, aiming to inspire students with the same passion that has driven my own musical journey. My musical journey began like many others in my local church choir, and this passion for music grew in concert band where I discovered a deep interest in theory and production.

While I focus heavily on Rock and R&B, my expertise also covers pop and indie music. I primarily use Ableton 12 and Pro Tools, but I’m happy to work with any DAW that suits your needs.  Throughout my career, I have enjoyed nurturing creativity in peers and students alike, focusing on songwriting and music composition. I believe in giving students the absolute freedom to express themselves, helping them find their unique musical talents.

I started teaching in high school, where I peer-tutored in vocals, introductory guitar, and basic music theory. Since then, I've expanded my skills to include voice work beyond just singing, particularly supporting LGBTQ+ students in their vocal transition goals. I have also guided students interested in voiceover work and voice acting, fostering confidence and versatility in their vocal abilities.

 I am dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students can explore their musical passions. I am committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive learning environment where every student feels empowered to explore their musical passions and grow as an artist.
