About Wesley Winfrey III

Hailing from Nashville TN, Wesley started playing saxophone in the middle school band. Upon graduating high school, he attended Belmont University and received his B.A. in Commercial Music with an emphasis in Music Technology. While there, he honed his craft in woodwind studies playing saxophone, flute and clarinet and composing music for media. Seeking further education, he took his talents to Seattle, Washington and received his certificate in Audio Production for film from University of Washington. Wesley has shared the stage with several artists including John Legend & Kanye West. He and has since gone on to perform all around the world, Touring with the S.O.S Band and working closely with multiple international entertainment groups, including the Tel Aviv based Caliente. Most recently, assuming the role of Music Director onboard  Holland America Line (HAL) cruise ships, contracted by Beale Street Blues Company creators of the famous B.B. King Blues Clubs. He has been commissioned by Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC) to write an extensive composition for the opening of their spring season set to debut February 2022. Wesley is currently based in Atlanta, GA where he is a DJ and Emcee for the entertainment company Far Out Galaxy..
