I have been a clarinet player for over twenty years since I started in beginner band in sixth grade and have also been a vocalist for over a decade now. I have been very involved in the band world for a number of years and was an assistant band director for one year in a small rural town.

I have had a number of students be very successful in middle school and high school auditions and at solo contests. I also help students prepare for end of year auditions, band performance tests, UIL Concert and Marching contests (working on their individual parts), and frequently use duets to help teach small ensemble skills and improve sight reading as well. I also teach adults as well who are often times looking to perform either as soloists or in local groups, and I focus on building the skills they need to be successful in those endeavors.
