Education: I have no formal musical education outside of high school and private lessons, however, I have spent much of my free time in the past learning as much as i can about the theory behind music. I have played with several bands over the last 15 year, some of which were fortunate enough to play gigs and Missoula's very own Top Hap Lounge, among other great local venues.
Performance Experience: I have played in several rock bands across Montana. I was in a handful of jazz combos in high school, and I have played in all of my school ensembles, including orchestra and band classes.
Teaching Experience: In my second year of professional music instruction. I run my own curriculum along side student requests for songs to learn.
Teaching Philosophy: You don't need to be better than anybody... you just need to do it like nobody else does.

Hello! I'm Zach Kessler, a born and raised Montana musician. I have been, and forever will be, a student of music. I have had the privilege of being mentored by many great musicians in my life in areas of rock, jazz, folk, and al little bluegrass. I enjoy practicing my musical craft, floating the river, and cybersecurity!
