About Zack Jones
Get to know Zack Jones
Pianist, bassist, and vocalist, Zackery Jones, has been living the musician’s life since a young age. He was the first musician within his household. Starting piano at the age of 7, he spent most of his early years training in classical music. By age 13, he was performing in church alongside his choir. At age 16 he started playing the bass guitar. Since then, he has progressed tremendously with the bass and piano. After high school, he went on to Alcorn State University to major in music performance. He was a member of the Alcorn State Jazz Band, Concert Choir, Men Chorale, and Gospel Choir. He filled many shoes within the music department as a piano accompanist and bassist. After graduating he was hired as the current Choral Director for Northwest Middle School in Meridian, Ms. Mr. Jones is currently playing across the united states when he’s not working his day job. He plays for various artists expanding across all genres of music. His favorite quote comes from a poem by Robert Frost: “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.”.
