About Alvin White

      Alvin grew up in a small town called Brandywine, Maryland. His father, who was a

Baptist minister, also sang in the church. Well needless to say, that's where Alvin got his

first taste of music and was, naturally, influenced by it. At the age of twelve he got his first

guitar. At seventeen, he was playing his first professional gig.

      From there, Alvin started freelancing his talent in the Washington D.C. area. And

all the while, gaining a ton of experience with a broad range of music styles. Close your

eyes and you'll think you're listening to George Benson. Then, Alvin may break into a

"dirty" Chicago Blues solo. Or he might just make it funky or keep it sweet. With his

unique sound and versatility, he is sure to add another dimension to the music.
