About Ida Mehrnoush

Ida is a teaching artist based in Baltimore, MD.  They hold degrees in Classical Guitar Performance from Towson University and Manhattan School of Music where they developed a passion for working with repertoire ranging from the Baroque to Contemporary periods of music for guitar.  Her education in the classical arts has become a healthy foundation for making music in popular styles including folk, rock, modern metal, neo-soul, and the list goes on.  They will support you in pursuing your stylistic goals and guide you along every step of the way as you find your niche.  Ida's teaching philosophy is based on guitar literacy and human expression.  She enjoys working with players of all ages and skill levels.  In her free time, Ida can be found shredding on her SG, working out a bassline to the last guitar riff that she discovered in a dream, or penciling in right hand finger-picking patterns to an enchanting piece of classical guitar music.
