Teaching Philosophy: All my instruction focuses on equipping students with the skills they need to enjoy music for a lifetime. I incorporate technical exercises, reading/writing the language of music, and quality pedagogical and classical literature in each lesson. I particularly believe that every student should be able to work at his or her own pace rather than meet a standard set of metrics. I also provide my students with performance regular performance opportunities.

I am a piano and voice teacher with twenty years of experience. I work with students of all ages , ability levels, and regardless of prior experience.
I especially enjoy teaching classical music and musical theater, and I focus on good technique that can be incorporated into any style of music.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and a Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance.
