About Adrian Mitchell

Dr. Adrian Mitchell is a trumpet, trombone, euphonium, baritone, and French horn teacher who works with students from beginner through advanced levels, helping them develop strong fundamentals, confidence, and musicianship in a supportive and engaging environment. His lessons balance technique, music theory, ear training, improvisation, performance skills, and practical application while tailoring instruction to each student’s individual goals and learning style. Dr. Mitchell teaches both classical and commercial music styles and prepares students for recitals, auditions, school ensembles, collegiate music programs, professional performance opportunities, and personal enjoyment. Dr. Mitchell holds degrees in Music Education, Trumpet Performance, and Education, brings over 20 years of teaching experience, and has performed at prestigious venues including the Kennedy Center, DAR Constitution Hall, and Baltimore Center Stage.
