Get to know Alana Bittner
Alana Bittner is a student completing her final semester at SUNY Fredonia and will be receiving both a BA in music education and a BA in music performance with a concentration in viola in December. She currently teaches violin and viola here at music and arts. Throughout her time as a performer, she has worked with various professionals, most notably including Jennifer Higdon, Michael Van Der Sloot, Timothy Deighton, and Jay Julio. At Fredonia, she studied under David Rose, and recently began studying Old Time Music. As an educator, she focuses on fostering an environment where student interests are built upon to develop technique and achieve goals.
