Hello, I'm Alex Desriveres! I'm a woodwind musician from New Jersey. I enjoy writing, learning, and playing music. I have worked as a performer on Norwegian Cruise Lines, at Dutch Wonderland amusement park, and in 2015 and 2016 was featured as a “Rising Star” at the COTA Jazz Festival. I love teaching young students to unlock their creativity through music. I emphasize guided exploration and student centered learning in my teaching style. Aside from music, I enjoy playing video games, hiking, and learning new languages!
