Get to know Allene Sigmon
I am a native of Charlotte and have a lifelong love of music encompassing involvement in music activities through school, church, and community. My twenty-two years as an Elementary Music teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools has given me the experience of reaching students at various levels and designing lessons unique to each student’s needs. As a teacher, my National Board certification allows access to resources which assists students in increasing their potential and musical interest. Whether you are an elementary school student learning to play the recorder, a middle schooler learning to read music, or a high schooler preparing for the AP Music Theory exam, I can help.
