About Amanda Grace

Hi! I'm Amanda, pop singer and guitarist living the rockstar dream in Wilmington. I have over a decade of experience managing, singing, and playing in bands for weddings & festivals, and I write and record original music. I have a passion for contemporary styles of pop, rock, and jazz music, and am excited to join the staff at Music & Arts to share my experience as a working musician. I teach my students that anything is possible with hard work, passion, and practice. 

As a gigging singer and guitarist, I have solid fundamentals for live performance technique, including how to sing with a microphone, singing while playing guitar, how to work with a mixer, stage presence, and crowd engagement skills. It is especially important to me to teach young singers of contemporary styles how to not let the excitement of the crowd or nerves distract from good vocal technique that could lead to strain or injury. I also teach songwriting and can guide beginner musicians through the basics of production and recording to get you started on your own rockstar journey!
