Performance Experience: arthuretta has performed in a variety of music groups, starting in their high school's string orchestra, jazz band, and indoor drumline, as well as their university's symphony orchestra, chamber ensembles, pep band, and choir. She has also performed at gigs for weddings, churches, and other private events.
Teaching Experience: arthuretta has several years of teaching experience as a tutor and private instructor. Currently, they are an official tutor for the Collinsworth School of Performing Arts at California Baptist University for several music courses. She has also worked at the School's Summer Music Camp for strings as a viola teacher for middle and high school students.
Teaching Philosophy: arthuretta believes that the best way to learn music is primarily through its vast range of emotions that it can elicit. They teach technical and analytical concepts as a means for artistic communication.

arthuretta cuicatl garcia is a composer and multi-instrumentalist, born and raised in Southern California. Studying at the Collinsworth School of Performing Arts at California Baptist University, their primary instruments for performance and teaching are violin, viola, cello, and piano. Additionally, she has experience teaching conducting, Western classical music theory, ear training, and Dorico.
