About Bill McClure

Bill began playing guitar at 13. He continued playing during a 20 year U.S. Navy career. Started playing in local bands while stationed in Spain. Played across southern Spain until he transferred to Iceland and played with bands there as well. Transferred to Norfolk Virginia and retired from the Navy and began a full time music career. He played and recorded with many bands in the area. He began teaching guitar in 2002 at Moe’s Music in Virginia Beach. As time passed he expanded his musical skills by learning to play many different instruments and styles of music. He played clubs and venues Virginia Beach, Outer Banks North Carolina and surrounding areas. Moved back to Ohio in 2023 to be with family.
