About Brandon Edwards

Brandon Edwards is a Spartanburg native who began his journey in music at a very young age. He is a classically trained percussionist with extensive experience in concert percussion, indoor and outdoor marching percussion, and drum set performance. He is credited with over 800 performances that include region and all-state bands, scholastic and independent percussion ensembles, studio session work, full albums, and live performances as a drum set artist. In 2022 he took a serious interest in guitar, studying with Zachary Pruitt of USC Upstate. In the spring of 2025 Brandon enrolled at Converse University to study contemporary music and classical guitar. When he is not teaching or studying, he can be found performing locally as the drummer with the Undercover Jazz Group.
