About Brandon Mathis

Brandon Mathis teaches beginner to advanced guitar, bass, and piano, tailoring lessons to each student’s strengths, challenges, and musical goals. His instruction builds strong fundamentals through songs and exercises while developing music reading, ear training, theory, technique, and performance skills. Brandon teaches jazz, R&B, blues, rock, and classical music, balancing areas that require extra practice with each student’s natural abilities. He helps students prepare for recitals, auditions, and band performances while becoming more confident communicating with other musicians. Brandon brings over 10 years of teaching and professional performance experience along with more than 10 years of formal music education.
