About Brooke Rowland

Hello!  My name is Brooke Rowland.  I began my music career 15 years ago on guitar, and soon after started teaching music lessons in high school which led me to acquire my Music Education degree from Washington State University.  I have experience as a performer in big bands, jazz combos, rock bands, and as a singer/songwriter.  I have recorded multiple albums on guitar, bass, and vocals in professional studios ranging from original indie-pop music to alternative rock to jazz big bands.

Aside from writing and performing, I have a passion for teaching!  I want music to be a fun experience where we work together to accomplish the basics while also building on the things that make you feel inspired to play music.  I’ve taught lessons to all ages and focus on catering the style and direction for each individual student.  We can learn specific songs, music reading, theory, technique, composition, improvisation, or any other concepts that fulfil your music goals.
